What a wonderful slice of history! This is an old country store and Gulf gas station located near Defeated Creek, Tennessee (right down the road from me in Smith County). It features an iconic, circular orange Gulf sign, an authentic old-fashioned gas pump, a classic tin roof, and a vintage red Coca-Cola sign mounted on the white wooden siding. Because it sits directly on a quiet country backroad with double yellow lines, it is a perfect representation of rural Americana.
