I thought Bluesky was doing well?
I've never gotten any interactions when I post there so I barely ever post. If this graph is correct, it makes sense why I don't get any interactions.

@BeAware I would suspect "active users" has different definitions for the three. i.e. signing into any Meta product if you've activated Threads probably tags you as "Active". And how they account for bots.
Also, social media is insanely echo-chambery. You hear about Bluesky a lot. But it's likely a very loud minority made up of a very loud contingent.
I'm content with what I've curated on Fediverse/Mastodon. The algorithms yuck me out on the other platforms.

@RxBrad Threads is VERY active, as far as I can tell.
Usually I can find discussions on almost any topic there.
I can find discussions on Bluesky for the topics I want to discuss, but usually never get any interactions back. It's weird tbh.
I just wish Fedi had more of the things I wanna discuss, but there isn't, so I try to get people to turn on Fediverse Sharing on Threads but that hasn't gone very well and threads users still can't reply to Fedi users.

@BeAware That seems to be an analytics firm's estimates based on app usage but it broadly agrees with what the platforms have been saying/disclosing. For Bluesky anyone can easily figure out the monthly user counts too so it has been very clear it's nowhere near X and currently stagnating for a while. @BeAware X centralized ass still finding ways to get people hooked back into the platform, Threads is private and barely fucking decentralized all you can get replies but you can't reply to them, likes is the only thing you can do, Bluesky different when it comes to the stats and I barely or dont give a fuck at all about engagement, idk.
