Reading through the first draft of the Your Party constitution as well as other founding documents with other delegates @maia. We are discussing what motions to vote for!

After reading the documents, I'm even more convinced of Your Party. Finally, I have collected them all.

Your Party won't establish itself in Northern Ireland, as a point of principle, because it supports Irish reunification.

At the Eve of Conference Rally with Zarah Sultana. There's tons of info material, I'm handed a paper, a political statement, or motion every five minutes by some different interest group. People have been preparing for this well and I'm full of hope!

What a hopeful start for #YourParty

The first speaker of the rally was a representative of the Bakers, Food and Allied Workers Union. He spoke of unity and called for Zarah Sultana and Jeremy Corbyn to work together. #YourParty

The second speaker, Audrey White, is a local to Liverpool. She's a representative of the Merseyside Pensioners Association, a radical activist group using civil disobedience to protest against genocide, war, and militarization. She spoke of the importance of supporting Palestine Action, opposing genocide, and especially organizing outside of the parliament in movements.

“I'm thankful to whoever invited me, because I'm a terrorist.”

“Labour has always betrayed the working class.”

“We win more from activism, than we'll ever win from parliament.”

She's from the platform for a Democratic Party which is an internal group trying to push Your Party into their direction, of which there are many already. #YourParty

The current (4th) speaker from the Democratic Socialists is criticizing the fact that some motions have been dismissed before the Founding Conference. He's speaking in favor of a collective leadership. #YourParty

The fifth speaker is a subway driver from London and a union thereof. She's speaking of the migrant and refugee experience in the United Kingdom.

“Men, I see your pain too. Your dignity isn't stolen by women or LGBTQ+ people.”

“The commonwealth isn't commonwealth. It's common-theft.”

She's calling for solidarity with Jamaica and Cuba.

“If the government can fund war, it can fund welfare.”

A short statement by Jeremy Corbyn was read with a lot of positive resonance #YourParty

The current speaker is an ex-representative of the Green Party who defected to Your Party

Among many things, he spoke of the importance of allowing dual-members in the party #YourParty

The current speaker used to be member on the National Executive Committee of the Labour Party and has also now defected to #YourParty

The current speaker is Lewis Nielsen who has been expelled from #YourParty today due to being a dual member (in his case he's the national secretary) of the Socialist Worker Party.

He's not talking about that for a long time, however, as the issue of allowing dual membership will be voted on this Founding Conference.

He's especially criticizing intransparent leadership and speaking in support of trans rights.

The last speaker before Zarah Sultana herself is a member of a Palestinian Youth Organization in the United Kingdom. #YourParty

The left must fight zionism as it fights fascism, for they are one and the same.

After he finished his speech, the entire room begins shouting “Free Free Palestine”.

It's time – Zarah Sultana delivers an incredible speech showcasing the importance of this historic conference.

“The left is back!”

“The real enemy of the working class travels by private jets, not migrant boats.”

“I'm a proud antizionist. [...] We will ensure of a single democratic state from the river to the sea.”

“The reason we care for the starvation of the Palestinian people is because it exposes how our ruling class would treat us if they could get away with it.”

“We should abolish the monarchy.”

“When Farage says 'Kick an immigrant', Starmer asks 'how hard?'”

“Refugees are welcome here and trans rights are human rights.”

“What I've seen from picket lines to Palestine...”

“You may have noticed there have been some hiccups, some of which caused by me. For this, I apologize. [...] I will never forgive myself for damaging the party that we so desperately need.”

“I want the working class to control this party as they should some day control the world.”

The room went completely wild after her speech was over, with clapping for minutes.
