I live in Oregon, USA and my previous boss would give me my paystubs all handwritten like this. I started kinda questioning him about it and he would reply oh you don't need me to write everything down. Ive got it all in my books. Well I no longer work there and I sent a letter requesting my employment records and my detailed paystubs and I received his letter in response to my request yesterday. How is $1232 a reasonable request? And what is the big deal with what im requesting? I started a complaint with the department of labor. Has anyone ever dealt with something like this.
