      And this doctor still sounds arrogant and hand-waves away the root cause as patient issues, disregarding how often doctors simply don't listen and choose simplistic answers.

        I'm thankful my doctor doesn't only just listen, but actively asks me what I think I need or should do to resolve issues. granted I'm no medical expert but it puts the onus on me to work with him to come to a resolution.
