Staff and visitors of Science World are mourning the recent death of a beloved spider member of the family.

The science centre confirmed to Daily Hive that Ruby, the Mexican Red-Kneed Tarantula, had recently passed away from old age.

Science World shared that the Ruby was over 20 years old and was a cherished part of the guest experience that will be missed by everyone.
