@jedda Strange, I use both Moleskine and Midori with fountain pens for 10 years and never had bleeding issues. Unless my standard is way way lower But yes, it is a rabbit hole... I still have 2 Midori (one was a gift from work) and many many Moleskines

@immarisabel no issues with Midori, but definitely Moleskine. You're saying you're not seeing any bleeding? You are one of the lucky ones! Haha -- what FP do you typically use?

@jedda I have a Lamy Studio with F nib, I am even using a super dark ink. I have never written with a L nib though, so I wonder if the size of the nib increasing the amount of ink has something to do with it.

@immarisabel I am also using a Fine nib. I don't think I write *that* hard but here's the extent of the bleeding I get using a moleskine.

@jedda oh woooww that is bad! I love the Moleskine line, I hope you like Midori then I love mine, but I find it too thin for my writing format, a bit uncomfortable, so I never use it for long form.

@jedda I found the reason!!! It has to do with the QC stickers. I always buy them in a premium shop so I always get them with blue or orange sticker. I never knew they also made cheaper ones. If it comes with grey or yellow, they don't take ink very well. Blue is flawless. My current one came with orange, which seems to be new, but also no problem with bleeding! Hahaha thought you wanted to know ! Here is a good video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fn0zFI5wuBU
