I don't "hate" wrestlers, as long as I can tell the difference between their character and their real personality, and their real personality isn't absolute garbage

I don't hate Jey Uso. I don't even dislike Jey Uso. He seems like a nice dude.
I hate Jey Uso's CHARACTER and lack of character PROGRESSION.
I like Cody. I like the way his character is tailored around kids. However, if the character being tailored to kids is what stops the character progression, then I hate that just as much.

#Wrestling ThreadsPeople put too much emphasis on the person themselves instead of the character on screen and what we're seeing when the camera is rolling.
If you hate an actor/actress/athlete/performer because of a character they play on TV, that's super weird.

#Wrestling Threads@beaware.social completely agree. outside of wrestling even there are characters I can't stand...in some cases it is a tribute to the actor/actress that they are good enough to make me feel that much dislike (in some cases they've had other roles and those characters came off as awesome/likable)
