I don't "hate" wrestlers, as long as I can tell the difference between their character and their real personality, and their real personality isn't absolute garbage.

I don't hate Jey Uso. I don't even dislike Jey Uso. He seems like a nice dude.

I hate Jey Uso's CHARACTER and lack of character PROGRESSION.

I like Cody. I like the way his character is tailored around kids. However, if the character being tailored to kids is what stops the character progression, then I hate that just as much.

People put too much emphasis on the person themselves instead of the character on screen and what we're seeing when the camera is rolling.

If you hate an actor/actress/athlete/performer because of a character they play on TV, that's super weird.

@beaware.social completely agree. outside of wrestling even there are characters I can't stand...in some cases it is a tribute to the actor/actress that they are good enough to make me feel that much dislike (in some cases they've had other roles and those characters came off as awesome/likable)
