Got an interesting problem here.

I created a Pixelfed account ages ago, perhaps a year, @missingbrighton@pixelfed.social which I subsequently deleted. It wasn’t for me.
Recently I created @missingbrighton@gram.social to see if Pixelfed was anymore suited, but it wasn’t. I have deactivated this account.

But both accounts are still visible in a search and appear to be active.
Can someone see if they can see the circled accounts, so I know who to contact.

@missingbrighton this is a caching issue from your instance most likely.

Most instances have certain settings for how often cache is cleared for efficiency purposes. I'd expect them to disappear in a week or two.

@BeAware For the @pixelfed.social it has been many months, if not a year.
I don’t think waiting is going to clear it.
