Oh it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Last night we got as far as putting up the decorative light garland in the archway. This weekend may bring simple strings of lights outside and a few more things. The guys are happier now that mom is doing a few things.

My first thought is first sentence. I looked it up and that is from a song by Meredith Wilson and popularized by Perry Como. In 1951. Whoa, the year I was born. From my youngest years this song must have been absorbed into my mind. Now, if I hadn’t brought this history up, would you remember this song? Even more unlikely, do you remember Perry Como?

@cobalt My mother listened to him, but I wasn't fond of his voice. I did enjoy watching Holiday Hotel and White Christmas many years after they were made. Lightweight, but classics.
