Envy points to what we desire.
I think this could be related to so many things, like homophobia for instance.
Envy for the freedom that queer folks have that the person feels they cannot have, and so they project and weaponize it, which is terrible and people need to be held accountable for.
Perhaps it could also be a feeling that a person could follow out toward their own liberation

@lifewithtrees For me, jealousy is when you want something someone else has but you don't want them to have it. Envy is when you want it but you also want them to have it.
