I'm so tired.

I'm so tired. My dad is now bedridden and cannot even stand without assistance.
He's fell multiple times in the past 2 months and it's like moving an entire mountain of dead weight so I can't do it alone and always have to call for help.
He's in the process of retiring so the next 5-10 years for me consists of living his life for him.
For the past 4 years I've basically been living in one room and don't do very much. That's depression and not having friends.
Now, even if there was something I want to do, I cannot do it for the foreseeable future. My life is now just sitting here and waiting on him 24/7.
Life sucks and then you die. Unfortunately I'm now looking forward to that second part.

@BeAware I hear you. Caregiver for adult son with multiple disabilities. I have developed 2 herniated disks from caregiving and can't have surgery. A lot of daily pain that is hard to get away from. I'm not sole caregiver as another son is full-time overnights and we also have another paid caregiver. I rarely get away from the home but for short appointments. You are not alone in your situation for there are many others. But you are the sole caregiver I hear? Best wishes and will think of you. You are welcome to rant away or discuss these tough daily needs that never end - join @caregivers to see boosts only in your home view.

@cobalt123 @caregivers Yeah, mostly just me. My mom is here when I really need a break which is usually like 1-2 days a week but she doesn't do everything so it's mostly me.
This is mostly new with my dad within the past 2 months so I'm getting (what I assume will be) my last real "vacation" for the foreseeable future as I'm taking my nephew to a wrestling event out of state on Sunday and Monday. I will take full advantage of that, surely.
Thanks for letting me know your experience. It helps to know that there are others out there. It's just hard as hell knowing my life is not mine anymore and I'm 32.
