Pirate handing out balloon animals on boardwalk

Link to Reddit postHeya! When I was a kid, I often came to Destin every year to visit the beach. I always remember on the boardwalk, there being this man dressed as a pirate handing out balloon animals to kids. For some reason I was always scared of him, the same kinda thing with most kids and mascots. Still, I remember that quite fondly and I just find myself wondering, what ever happened to him? How’s he doing? If any of y’all know, I’d be happy to hear.
Edit: I know I said boardwalk, but I mean Harborwalk Village. I would’ve been going there between 2007-2014ish if that helps
