    I think this is a very common story in the foss world and we lose a lot of good devs and good projects to it.

    For years I’ve always wanted to be an open-source maintainer

    I've always wanted to be an open-source maintainer, but now I despise it. It really takes much more time and effort than you think.

      Yeah, nothing wrong with building something that scratches your itch and open sourcing it, no need to burn yourself out with more
