      @the_spc I wish I could help.😬

      Maybe make a post about it, asking if anyone knows about blindness accessibility options?

      If you do, make sure to add hashtags so it can be found easily.

          I can only handle one account at a time. I forget other accounts exist. Lol.

            @the_spc PS. I asked ChatGPT about it and it unfortunately doesn't look hopeful.😬

            It's kinda long but here's what it says:

            Oblivion Remastered (2025) introduces several accessibility enhancements over the original game; however, it currently lacks comprehensive features specifically designed for blind or low-vision players.

            Available Accessibility Features

            The remaster includes a range of accessibility options aimed at improving the gaming experience for a broader audience:
            • Adjustable Difficulty Settings: Five levels of difficulty to cater to various player preferences.
            • Aim Assist: Helps with targeting during combat.
            • Audio Customization: Separate volume controls for different sound categories, allowing players to balance audio elements to their liking.
            • Field of View (FOV) Sliders: Adjustable for both first-person and third-person perspectives.
            • Text and Subtitle Scaling: Options to increase the size of in-game text and subtitles, though some users have noted that the largest settings may still be relatively small on larger screens.
            • Full Button Remapping: Supports customization of controls, facilitating the use of accessibility controllers like the PlayStation Access.

            These features enhance the game’s accessibility for players with various needs, including those with partial vision.

            Limitations for Blind Players

            Despite these improvements, Oblivion Remastered does not currently offer specific features tailored for blind players, such as:
            • Screen Reader Support: No integration with screen reading software to narrate on-screen text or menus.
            • Text-to-Speech Functionality: Absence of in-game narration for dialogues or descriptive text.
            • Audio Navigation Cues: Lack of spatial audio cues to assist with navigation and interaction within the game world.

            These omissions mean that fully blind players may find the game challenging to navigate and play without additional assistance.

            Community Feedback

            Discussions within the gaming community reflect these limitations. For instance, a visually impaired player expressed concerns about the accessibility options in Oblivion Remastered, highlighting the need for features like UI text scaling and screen reader compatibility.

            Conclusion

            While Oblivion Remastered makes strides in accessibility compared to its predecessor, it falls short in providing comprehensive support for blind players. The current features may benefit those with partial vision, but the absence of screen reader support and audio navigation tools limits the game’s accessibility for fully blind individuals.

                @the_spc I'm sorry, friend.

                Maybe there will be a mod or something that can do that eventually.

                  @BeAware Yeaah maybe. Althouugh we already have games that thave to be modded all to hell (can we say World of Warcraft) to make it playable. I seriously wish wee wouldn't have to. 😞 -T

                    @the_spc Absolutely same. That's one of the reasons I don't play World of Warcraft, beyond the absolute necessity to group with other un-social players.

                        @the_spc World of Warcraft?

                        Lots of people on there are really toxic.

                        Even if it was possible, you'd most certainly have to find other visually impaired people to play with because the community is toxic to able-bodied people. I'm willing to bet it'd be 10x worse for disabled people.😔
