"We are continuously investing and innovating our platform for the future," Nicole Herskowitz, corporate vice president for Microsoft 365 and Copilot, wrote in a blog post. "In the last year, we released more than 1,100 features across Microsoft 365, Security, Copilot, and SharePoint." The new features have added value to the suites, she wrote. We didn't want Copilot, but you forced it in, and are now charging us more because its in there? Create a SKU of the same stuff without Copilot, and see how many customers switch to it instead. If your customers think it adds enough value, then they'll stay on it and you'd be right. If you see massive shifts to the non-copilot cheaper SKU, then can you finally listen to your customers that don't want to pay for an AI subscription?
